Our clinicians are in-network providers with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield plus many out of state Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, Aetna, Meritain, United Healthcare, Optum, and Oxford. We are happy to verify your benefits and check on the details of your plan when you first reach out so you can know exactly what to expect.
Many insurance plans offer great out-of-network benefits as well, so if you don't see your plan listed above, please ask us to look up your benefits anyway! We can give you an accurate estimate of the amount you would owe for each session based on the details of your plan. We will bill your insurance directly on your behalf for each session and you only have to pay the portion you owe instead of laying out the entire amount.
Absolutely. Nervousness is common and being vulnerable can seem impossible. Our therapeutic environment is all-inclusive and non-judgmental. You’d be surprised at how common it is for people to go through similar struggles and feel stuck. Our years of training and practice have prepared us to be able to support you fully, at your own pace. You never have to share something you are not ready to share. You are in charge.
Confidentiality is the most important thing to us and we take it seriously. Unless you or someone else is in immediate danger, nothing you say will ever be uttered to anyone. All of our platforms are also compliant with HIPAA and related privacy laws including our electronic records system and video platform. Even our text line, phone and email are encrypted so that your information is always secure. If you decide to have us talk to someone of your choosing about your treatment, we will only do so with your written permission.
Therapy is completely individualized. Some need support with a rough patch over a couple of months while others decide to stay in therapy long term. Maybe you need an extra session here and there, and maybe you’ll want a break from us for a couple months and come back when you need us again. There are no rules and no wrong way to do it.
We can stop whenever you feel like you don't want to continue, whether you don't think you need it anymore or for any other reason. All you have to do is let us know- no reason required and no questions asked! You are in full control of your treatment. After all, who else knows you like you do?
